The people behind White Owl
A Cusco-based travel agency built by people who grew up in these mountains and wanted to share them without losing what makes them sacred.
Two ways of knowing this place, in one agency
White Owl started from a simple observation: most travelers to Cusco get either a checklist of ruins or a spiritual retreat, rarely both, and rarely adapted to how much time or energy they actually have.
So we built an agency around both traditions at once. On one side, the classic circuits: Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, the mountain treks that put Cusco on every traveler's list. On the other, the ceremonial side of the Andes: offerings to the Pachamama, cleansing rituals, guided by people who were taught these practices, not people performing them for a crowd.
We work out of our office in Cusco, and this site is where that same team plans your trip before you arrive.
What guides every itinerary
Local, firsthand knowledge
Every guide and driver we work with lives in the region and has walked these routes far more times than any guidebook.
Respect for what we visit
Ceremonies are led with the same care shown by the communities that taught them to us, not staged for a photo.
Built around you
Group size, pace, dates and mix of experiences adjust to what you actually came for.
Support before and during
One team answers your questions before you book and stays reachable for the length of your trip.
Guides who live where you're visiting
Our field team is made up of licensed local guides, several of them Quechua speakers, specialized across trekking, cultural tours and Andean ceremonial practice. Drivers, cooks and ceremony leaders are all based in Cusco, the Sacred Valley or Puno, working with us on an ongoing basis rather than as one-off contractors.
